Botanical Tiger - Razorfish Health - Lightfarm Studio

This flower tiger was created in collaboration with Razorfish and brought to life by Lightfarm Studio Brazil. It was inspired by the White Chrysanthemum Tiger from the series Natura Tribute, created in 2018, as a dedication to my late stepfather. To reach an outstanding and realistic result, the team at Lightfarm Studio added textures to each petals and rendered the model by using real flowers as reference.

My contribution to this project was to work on the early concept based on the White Tiger from the series Natura Tribute and also to assist the teams at Razorfish and Lightfarm Studio as adviser. Being an artist who mainly works with real botanicals, I am constantly limited by the fragility and the ephemerality of the materials. Therefore, accomplishing complex animations such as these is something that I can only dream about. It is with the limitless possibilities of the digital applications that this beloved tiger became reality.
